How much do our pups enhance our lives? How much joy and happiness and laughter and love do we get from having them in our homes? Maybe it’s not a measurable amount, maybe it’s an endless amount and forever lasting. Dogs have this way about them that gives us love beyond what we give ourselves, they lift us when we are down and know just the right thing to say, which is usually just to listen, to be by our side. I am grateful for my animals Every. Single. Day. And I know that any of you reading this feel the same way about your dogs and other animals too. I am thankful for coming home to a smiling, wiggling, boundless dog each time I come home, I am grateful for his little curls that frame his face and how they make me laugh when I pet him. I am grateful that he is happy and carefree and feels safe with me, I am grateful that I know the true joy that he brings to the world and I am grateful that so many people out there feel this love too.

Will and his dogs Penny and Zero: @markingourterritory I have been a fan of this guy for a long time, I think I first stumbled upon him a Halloween many years ago with his first love Eko a giant Rodesian Ridgeback doing brain surgery on a pumpkin. He made me laugh, and it was apparent right away the love he had for these dogs and how much strength he got from them to find himself. He is now a happy family of 6! 2 Ridgebacks and 2 babies! Follow along to see the power of a dog’s love in the home and laugh and love through his clever writing.

Now this one isn’t primarily about dogs, although they do play an integral part of the story, but the superstar of this account is Esther the Wonder Pig @estherthewonderpig and she is amazing in every way. She lights up the whole internet with love and her two dads are an example of love conquering above all else. When you have an animal come into your life that changes how you view every aspect of how the world works and how you fit in it, you don’t turn away, you face it head on and become a new person. This account teaches us how gratitude and kindness can change the world and we love them. Go give them a follow!
